
Health Services are provided by the
school nurse who serves the needs of the learners. There is one registered nurse
on campus and all staff take First Aid sessions with the Lebanese Red Cross on
an annual basis.
The nurse is provided with medical
files for learners that include:
A medical form that includes general information, health history,
allergies, immunization, medication, and emergency plan in case of an accident
is to be filled by parents by the beginning of the year. The school does not
administer any medication nor provide any health care or screening to learners
without written permission from their parents/a doctor’s prescription.
Health education is conducted
throughout the year to answer learner and parent concerns and to provide
awareness, emotional and physical support. The services provided during the
year are covered by a pediatrician, a dentist and other specialists.
Counseling
The
Counseling Department is founded on the belief that each individual is unique,
possesses intrinsic worth, and is capable of personal growth and
self-direction.Our
philosophy is that counseling is for everyone. We try to serve a vital role in
ensuring that all learners become successful learners and to achieve their
highest potential. The department also aims at helping learners develop a growing sense of
responsibility for their personal and academic choices.
