Hour of Code

LWIS- Hazmieh has celebrated the Hour of Code along with more than 100 million learners from all over the world, on December 11, 2015. With the Hour of Code, computer science has been on the homepage of Google, MSN, Yahoo!, and Disney. Over 100 partners joined together to support this movement and last year, every Apple Store in the world hosted an Hour of Code.

The Hour of Code, organized by the non-profit Code.org and over 100 others, is a statement that today’s generation of learners are ready to learn critical skills for 21st century success. That’s why every one of the learners at LWIS- Hazmieh have joined in on the largest learning event in history: The Hour of Code, Dec 7- 13.

This year, we made this event even bigger by asking parents to join us for one hour on Friday, December 11th from 11: 00 am till 12: 30 pm.

We hope these pictures below would show you the fun we've had and would highlight the importance of coding and programming since an early age.
